Position: Production Manager-World Famous Manufacturing Company
Report to: Plant Director (Foreigner)
Subordinates: 65 P
Location: Changzhou
Responsibilities:
? Conduct daily management of production related tasks.
? Organize, establish and improve production.
? Full budget responsibility for production.
? Responsibility for entire production, including production planning according to sales requirements and customer specifications. Calculation and overall responsibility for product engineering, i.e. product samples for new customers and/or new applications. Establishment of an appropriate preventive as well as corrective maintenance system.
? Ensure appropriate quality levels and interlink with quality department. Responsibility for on-time deliveries with zero defects.
? Continuous improvement of machine availability and cost excellence program.
? Leadership and development of about 60 blue collar employees and 5 engineers.
? Organization of production according to implemented SAP R3 system.
? Ensure successful communication with all other departments, e.g. controlling, general management, quality, purchase and logistics, etc.
? Implementation of operational excellence program following lean manufacturing principles.
? Planning and realization of technical investment projects.
? Intensive technical training in our German and other international entities offered.

Requirements
? Bachelor degree or above, major in engineering, mechanics
? 5-8 years' experience in manufacturing, preferable (not necessarily) in cable or wire in a leadership role. International company and experience is an asset.
? Experience in operational excellence is a plus.
? Good Communication skill, excellent command of both spoken and written
? English, excellent skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
? Project management skills, self-organization and determination.
? Operational excellence, such as six sigma, OEE, SMED, etc. is a plus.
? Extensive SAP R3 user experience.
? Management skills (leadership/teamwork/ communication skill, etc.)
? Leadership competency, team work spirit, empathy for fellow employees.

? Strong analytical and people skills, initiative, right mindset and attitude, efficient work approach.
? Excellent in both written and oral English communication
? SAP R3, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point).
