POSITION SUMMARY
? To plan, direct, and control FTN Operations in East China to ensure timely and cost-effective accomplishment of corporate service and revenue goals and objectives.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
? Select, train, develop, motivate staff and administer an annual operating expenses budget.
? Attain optimum usage of assigned resources through the coordination of station objectives and the development and establishment of priorities of operations plans with the local staff.
? Plan and develop operational objectives through effective organization of individual station operating functions.
? Contribute to the identification of specific marketing opportunities and participate in development of new or modified service offerings.
? Attain operational efficiency and reduction of unnecessary costs by effectively analyzing, reviewing and directing activities of the station manager of each station in East China region.
? Ensure that operations goals and budget requirements are met and maintained.
? Ensure that long and short range planning is accomplished for each East China station and the total operations, including contingency planning.
? Assist the Managing Director with the input needed to establish planning for East China region.
? Maintain effective systems, review, and control to assure effective growth.
? Audit, analyze, plan, implement, and follow-up on all station activities for East China region.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE
Academic:
? Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Experience & knowledge:
? Ten (10) years professional experience in transportation service or freight forwarding industry.
? Three (3) years relevant management / supervisory experience.
? Project management & resource planning experience.
? Extensive Finance, P&L management, costing, planning and overall budgetary control.
? Fluent in English, Mandarin and local languages.
