Purpose of the Role:
The Senior Accountant is responsible for the major reporting and reconciliation duties of MTS. It is responsible for applying accepted accounting principles and procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Responsible for full sets of accounts which includes GL and AP, month-end closing activities and associated reporting for international entities
? Cash flow management
? Intercompany payments and invoicing
? Follow up closely all the disputed invoices and ensure the issue resolve
? Follow up with appropriate parties to ensure timely payments for approved supplier invoices
? Update Aging report monthly
? Perform reconciliations
? Be engaged in management reporting, forecasting and budgeting
? Liaise with external auditors/government authorities on audit, tax, accounting and statutory issues
? International exposure will be advantage

PERSON SPECIFICATION
JOB TITLE: Senior Accountant

Qualifications Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ACCA

Experience At least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience

Good working knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles. IT industry preferred.
Skills & Abilities Be proficient in MS Office applications

Personal Qualities Meticulous and responsible

Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills

Conscientious, pro-active, and with positive attitude

A team player and be comfortable working in a very dynamic and fast pace environment

Eye for details and deadline driven

Other: Pro-active in process improvements and able to partner effectively with all stakeholders
