1 expert who will lead the key activities and will be the contact window for program manager.
The project is a worldwide development. In addition to close relation with the supplier, it will request a close communication with French team and our two joined venture
Below you will find the skills we are requesting. We are expecting that the expert profile fulfill most of our requirements.
Embedded SW development skills :
Connected car involved a complex navigation system & Telematics box with an huge number of functional requirements. Therefore, it request to have a strong experience in SW development & SW architecture. The candidate must :
1. Have 10 years of experience in embedded SW development in the field of automotive or consumer electronics industry (have SW development experience in navigation system will be a plus)
2. Be familiar with specifications referential linked to the functions
3. Be familiar with technical convergence with the supplier
4. Be able to guaranty the requirements tractability with supplier specifications & architecture
5. Have a strong competency in software architecture
6. Familiar with state of the art of software development (CMMI)
7.Have experience on writing functional specifications (in the field of infotainment and/or Telematics box will be a plus)
8.Have a clear understanding of all the software requirements and specifications.
Automotive IoT development & validation skills :
- DevOps experience
- Skills in SW release management
- Cloud integration
- Inter-operability test
- JSON usage in SW development + MQTT experience
- Gateway definition and protocols
- API definition and metrics analysis
- Experience in level 2 or level 3 assistance
- Cyber security
- TLS 1.2 knowledge
o AES 4096
o Proxy server definition
- MNO interface
Project management expectations:
- Manage the development and industrialization according the project planning taking into account vehicle project schedules
- Lead the SW integration between different suppliers
- Get a good understanding of each software supplier constraints and define the software integration strategy with them
- Manage the tier 1 supplier
- Manage all the relationship between the different suppliers and do the integration project animation (Manage potential Tier1/Tier2 relationship)
- Follow all the software validation - Acceptance review - Suppliers test reports validation :
o For each supplier delivery, prepare the acceptance review and the acceptance criteria
o Confirm before the acceptance review the function maturity compared to the expectation
- Manage & follow the defect status and all the SW convergence & maturity
o Follow the function validation with PSA internal validation team
o Follow the defects linked to the function
o Do the defects quotation and manage the supplier according to the criticity
o Manage the animation of the defects with the supplier (from open status to closed status)
- Ensure the reporting to the project and R&D management
- Apply the technical standards of the domain and contribute to improve them if necessary. Contribute to adapt the methodology to the Chinese environment
- Verify permanently the adequacy between the maturity of the components and the objectives assigned (Quality, Cost, Time, Product)
Behaviour skills:
- Strong leadership to be able to lead several suppliers, give priority and make decisions
- Very good skills in communication (oral and written) to animate integration activities and do the link between different suppliers
- Languages: Fluent in Chinese & english (French will be a plus)
