Principal job responsibilities:
? monthly PL variance analysis vs latest forecast
1. store operational cost vs latest forecast with retail development department (property & maintenance, administration cost)
2. employee expenses & HC tracking vs latest forecast with HR department
3. POSM expenses tracking vs latest forecast with VM and retail
4. Other Opex review vs latest forecast, verify the reasonableness
5. GM review vs latest forecast with merchandising department, figure out sales mix impact on PL, and verify reasonableness of ACP, MOS
6. Tracking on PL impact for promotional activity
? Annual budget, quarterly rolling forecast
1. Forecast template preparation and distribution
2. Review each function’s input & discuss with them
3. Combine forecast data into retail PL
4. Upload forecast data into HFM & HP and check the accuracy
? IP (new opening/relocation/popup/lease renewal)
1. Prepare for PL by store, city average, country average of latest forecast and distribute to BD
2. Update calculation assumption in IP simulation model and notify PAP on a quarterly base
3. Review and discuss with BD about their input in IP excel and PPT, update relevant financials in IP form
4. Keep tracking on IP approval status by local management, PAP & DK
5. Prepare for IP tracking report semi-yearly
