YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
？ End-user Business Development
? Drive end-user pipeline growth
? Build and maintain close relationships with key end-users
? Conduct EU training
? Support converter joint visit to EU with converter to close value chain
? Lead and drive innovation ideas from EU insights
？ Provide support for new product development and launch:
? Define market needs and expectations "CTQ" from converters
? Provide input on product/component performance requirements
? Provide field trial support at converter
? Ensure products meet customer requirements
？ Be a technical sales resource internally for salespeople:
? Support product recommendations
? Product and competitive product expert to value-sell our products
? Conduct product and technical training to converters
? First line technical support for converters
？ Support execution of service initiatives:
? Feedback on product service gaps
? Initiate or propose product service improvement
? Build intimacy with key accounts
？ Accountability
? EU pipeline growth and incremental sales
? Converter push incremental sales align with EU and support
? Inquiry response time and closure
? Jointly build converter opportunity pipeline and share accountability for closure
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:
The BD Manager Position requires a minimum of 3-5 years working experience within the Electronic industry and Tyre manufacturers, more commercial than technical exposure. Technical background with engineering (Materials, Mechanical, Electronics,) or Polymer science will be good and packaging experience is valued. Candidates should have good understanding and basic knowledge in marketing and/or packaging design. A Bachelors Degree in marketing, business, or other relevant discipline is plus. Other key skills and experience include:
? Solid understanding of the Electronic industry, well knowing about the key players in East China like HP, Sony, LG, etc and their value chain.
? Solid understanding of the Tyre Manufacture, well knowing about the key players in China like ZhongCe, GoodYear, Continental, Giti, Yokohama, Hankook, etc and their value chain.
? Excellent project leadership skills in multi-functional team settings;
? Demonstrated capability to develop End User relationships across all functions and levels
? Ability to network with end users, customers, and channel partners.
? Significant experience with BD in the Electronic Industry - with exposure to general business/management issues and their resolution.
? Resourceful and proactive in solving problems and delivering solutions
? Capable of conducting a detailed analysis and recommending clear action plans
? Bias toward action; ability to have an impact
? High degree of personal integrity; sense of duty to contribute meaningfully and an attitude willing to share credit for accomplishment.
? Fluent in business English; excellent written and verbal communications skills.
