职位描述：
Building our new R&D strategy, we need a senior engineer with 7-10 years engineering background who will be able to lead the design of our new indoor products.
You will consolidate all information coming from all different positions to design our products in line with cost, timeline, specifications, and quality objectives.
You will lead the NPD indoor engineers.

Major responsibilities:
As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible of all technical choices for New Products Developments from the component level to the full luminaire in accordance with lighting standards Industrialization constraints and design guide lines.

To achieve this mission, you will
Supervise NPD Indoor Mechanical EngineersTranslate the Voice of the customer into a concrete product (from ID design to pilot run validation)Lead a technical project team and follow your KPIParticipate to DFMEA/PFMEAManage BOM creationSupport Industrialization teamGenerate product validation plan with the labQualify new components

You will contribute to technology and platform roadmap. This includes benchmarking and technology scouting.

You will either be based out of Hong Kong / Shenzhen and travel to our Guangzhou factory on a weekly basis or be based out of Guangzhou. You will also travel around Asia to work with our suppliers.

Requirements:

Qualifications:
College degree

Experience:
Must have min 5 years’ experience working in a similar position
Must have min 5 years’ experience working in international company
Must have a proven past experience in Industrialization/NPI

Professional/ Specific Skills (management, technical, etc):
Must have a mechanical or electrical engineering background
Must be able to manage a team of CAD engineers
Led lighting knowledge required
Proven past experience working for an international LED lighting company
Knowledge about CCC, CQC, CE standards for lighting industry
