Objectives of the Position
Key account lawyer for the company
 
Task & Responsibilities
* Contracts
- Advising on contractual structures
- Drafting and reviewing
- Negotiation
- Finalization and support in execution
- Filing and registration
* Legal analysis and advice
- Review and interpretation of contracts and other documents
- Review of cases and situations and legal assessment
- Analysis of questions, scenarios, strategies and proposals
* Litigation
- Courts
- Arbitral tribunals
- Administrative agencies
* Investigations
- Point of contact for investigating authorities and officers (prosecutors, stock exchange commissions, competition authorities etc.)
- Advising employees and management on rights and duties
* Policies and Guidelines
- Advising on and drafting corporate policies, guidelines and standard operating procedures
- Support in interpretation and implementation
* External counsel coordination
- Selection of external counsel
- Engagement of and negotiation with external counsel
- Monitoring and managing external counsel
* Lobbying
- Cooperate with EA, CEO and other internal stakeholders
- Liaise with other market participants (industry, associations)
- Network with authorities, agencies, lawyers, scholars and think tanks
* Training
- employees in the automotive company
- Him/herself in developments of law and additional fields of the law
* Administration
- Coordinate with L/GC Operation, L/GC and L
- Reporting
 
Qualification, Competencies & Experience
* Education
- Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in law or equivalent
* Experience
- Professional legal experience (minimum twelve years)
- Practice as in-house counsel or as attorney
- Working experience in an international environment (abroad, foreign invested company, international law firm)
* Specific knowledge
- Understanding of R&D related laws and regulations
- Excellent legal skills
- Proficiency in English
- Sound judgment and profound negotiation skills
- Commercial understanding and entrepreneurial approach
- Providing solutions and actively moving things forward
- Intercultural competence
- Ability to act independently and reliably under time pressure and on multiple tasks, willingness to take decisions
