(Sr) Field Service Engineer

customized and sustainable solutions for the food processing industry.
With operations in more than 100 countries worldwide, the company is a
dedicated and trusted partner for renowned animal protein providers around the globe.

Due to its plans in China, we are
looking for a bright individual to become their Field Service Engineer, that could support the company’s customer
base in the area

Summary:

The Field Service Engineer will be in
charge of assisting with installations of new equipment and production lines
being responsible for the mechanical and electrical start-up and fine tuning of
the the installations. The FSE is the main point of contact of the brand in
client’s site and will lead the mechanical and electrical overhaul of the
equipment or production lines.

Key responsibilities:

• Execution
  of the service and installation activities including start-up and commissioning
  at our customer site.

• Working
  at all time according to safety and hygienic policies of the company and its
  customers

• Showing
  team effort in working together with other Field Engineers and also with local
  operators, maintenance and quality staff from company’s customers

• Working
  together with the designated site coordinator for the service or installation job
  to be executed.

• Using
  and keeping the tools provided proper and safe

• Responsible
  for observing safety rules and adequate permits in dangerous conditions such as
  welding and grinding activities, lifting and tilting of equipment and
  constructions, etc

• Responsible
  for working hours and expense reporting according to company policy

• Willing
  to follow additional training sessions for continuous improvement

• Willingness
  to collaborate with the technical team based in HQ and other global sites

The
Successful Applicant

• Bachelor
  degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or similar major).
  Basic knowledge of PLC programming is a plus

• A
  minimum of 2 years experience in commissioning/installation of equipment and
  field service engineering activities. Experience in food processing industry is
  a plus (Poultry processing preferred)

• Comprehensive
  knowledge of safety (B-VCA); license to operate forklifts and lifting equipment

• Ability
  to read technical diagrams and schematics

• Chinese
  native with good command of English (speaking/reading/writing) required

• Professional
  appearance. Good communication skills. Service spirit and result oriented

• Self-reliable
  and autonomous. Independent and willing to travel to work on-site over 3-4
  weeks periods
