The successful candidate will, as part of the Public Relations (Consumer focus) Services team, be given the opportunity to work with existing clients and participate in the on boarding of new clients. It is essential that applicants to this position have excellent communication skills, demonstrate creativity, and understand the importance of attending to even the smallest details. This is a full-time occupation.

Responsibilities:

The (senior) account executive will support the efforts of the team through a variety of activities including:

l Create press releases and other public relations materials

l Research on appropriate media contacts and editorial calendars

l Schedule and coordinate briefings, media interviews, speaking engagements and other special events

l Track and report traditional and social media placement

l Opportunity for PR basics practice: clipping report/summary, analysis, pitch proposal, research report etc.

l Communicates with clients on priorities and deliverables, and ensures team is up to date and has the information required to meet client needs

l Actively participates in pitches and demonstrates knowledge of issues by contributing ideas and strategy to proposals and drafting RFPs

l Participate actively in internal and client meetings, sometimes leading them, offering knowledgeable observations and suggestions;

Skills and Qualifications:

l Completed Bachelor (and above)’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, English or related field or past public relations or communications experience

l Strong verbal and written communication skills both in Mandarin and English

l Prior relevant work experience is a plus

l Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

l Experience with social media platforms and developing content

l Solid organizational and project management abilities
