职位描述：
The SCC provides support to the APAC presales organizations in the various countries. On day to day basis you will work closely with presales counterparts on a wide range of tasks, the major parts of which are:
? Responding to Customer Requests for Proposals; Providing commercially savvy answers to solution/product questions posed by customers to aid their selection of new products/solutions
? Developing custom demos for specific customer opportunities. Translating the customer requirement into a scenario to show to the customer. Developing these prototypes in a very short timeframe
? Delivering product training to partners over the web
? Answering technical (pre-sales oriented) questions about Oracle’s products and solutions
? A significant portion of your time will also be used to stay up to date on the latest product releases & Oracle’s strategy. This is done through self study, online training, classroom trainings depending on the topic.
 
To fulfill the role of a Database pre-sales consultant, we are looking for individuals that match the following profile:
 
Technical/Non Technical:
1) Knowledge of storage technology (RAID, Snapshot, Clone, Replication, Flash, etc.). Oracle Storage (FS1, ZFS, Tape, ZDLRA) products & configuration experience. Knowledge of major competitors (EMC, HDS, NetApp, IBM, HP)
PoV - Hands on skill on FS1 and ZFS.
2) Knowledge of Oracle Server products, Solaris/OEL and Virtualization configuration experience. Knowledge of infrastructure architecture and sizing methodologies. Understanding of the Performance benchmark (TPC, SPEC, etc.). Storage IOPS sizing.
3) In-depth knowledge of Oracle Engineered Systems products: Exadata, Exalogic, and Exalytics. Knowledge of Database, Middleware, Big Data, Cloud, Storage and Backup. (OEL/ZS3 Storage/Oracle Infiniband Networking/Oracle Traffic Director/Weblogic Server)

Others:
1. Total experience: 4 -10yrs
2. Work experience in a similar role is an added advantage
3. Fluent English both oral and written
