职位描述：
The SCC provides support to the APAC presales organizations in the various countries. On day to day basis you will work closely with presales counterparts on a wide range of tasks, the major parts of which are:
? Responding to Customer Requests for Proposals; Providing commercially savvy answers to solution/product questions posed by customers to aid their selection of new products/solutions
? Developing custom demos for specific customer opportunities. Translating the customer requirement into a scenario to show to the customer. Developing these prototypes in a very short timeframe
? Delivering product training to partners over the web
? Answering technical (pre-sales oriented) questions about Oracle’s products and solutions
? A significant portion of your time will also be used to stay up to date on the latest product releases & Oracle’s strategy. This is done through self study, online training, classroom trainings depending on the topic.
 
To fulfill the role of a Database pre-sales consultant, we are looking for individuals that match the following profile:
 
Technical/Non Technical:
1) Comprehensive technical knowledge of Database/Big Data - strong preference for DBA background
2) Understanding database migration, Character conversion is highly regarded
3) Ability to use Oracle Enterprise Manager is highly regarded
4) Competitive product background (e.g. Azure,Amazon,Mainframe, DB2,Sybase,Shakra,DB Safer,CubeOne,Vormetric,Tivoli,SAS) and knowledge is highly regarded
5) In-depth knowledge of OS(UNIX/LINUX) & N/W highly regarded
6) DB Cloud/PaaS - PaaS for SaaS on DCS/JCS, Oracle Cloud Marketplace, PaaS use cases, Customer reference, Demo, Sizing, Best practice and deployment guide
7) Technical knowledge of Big Data concept. Experience with Hadoop and related technologies. Knowledge of Oracle Big Data products: Big Data Discovery, Advance Analytics, Spatial & Graph, Big Data SQL, Big Data Connector, BDA.


Others:
1. Total experience: 3-6yrs
2. Work experience in a similar role is an added advantage
3. Fluent English both oral and written
