Title: Application engineer/manager
Report to: Application Director

Job Purpose
The Application engineer/manager is responsible for contributing business improvement in China by addressing customer’s application problems related to the technology/science and introducing advanced Atomic Force Microscope(AFM) solutions. You will work closely with customers while introducing latest AFM applications and solutions together with a technical seminar and/or a live demonstration. Also, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented engineering teams in HQ and to travel different countries with partners.

Duties and Responsibility
? Provide a technical presentation to customers and identify Park AFM’s applications opportunities for customers
? Conduct a high quality sample measurement and generate a document from the acquired data to convince customers. Report the result to customers and Park Systems
? Pro-actively manage and participate in technical seminars and live demos to escalate customer’s awareness on Park AFM solutions
? Write a technical notes/articles for AFM applications, interesting images.
? Provide a technical sales support to identify a product configuration matching customer’s needs and to generate a wining offer
? Attend conferences for technical presentation and other events
? Generate reports and technical documentation for other applications engineers to learn on processes, known methods to aid customers in use of Park AFMs

Education
? Ph.D or MSc in physics, material science, chemical engineering or micro-electronics or equivalent experience is required

Personal Skills
? Experience in AFM and related analytic instruments
? Strong technical background and analysis skills
? Good communicative skills and customer orientation
? Ability to analyze technical data and report, conduct research for solution
? Good problem solving technique and fast learning for new things
? Self-motivated individual
? Committed to your job and your colleagues
