Position Summary: LANDesk’s rapidly growing suite of software is comprised of Systems, Security, Asset and Service Management solutions. Korean localization engineer acts as quality assurance expert to maintain proper functionality of localized products.

RESPONSIBLITIES/DUTIES

· Performs specified tests in black and ad hoc testing scenarios.

· Executes localization tests, prepares and maintains a set of test machines and Operating Systems for the target language.

· Acts as a localization developer to perform daily work of localization process.

· Perform Software and document localization.

· It is about 70% to work as a localization tester and 30% to work as a localization developer.

· May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Skills and Experience:

· 3 years of related experience.

· Skills in Software Testing – particularly in Localization.

· Proficiency with Defect Tracking tools and Defect Lifecycle management.

· Knowledge or Experience of Databases – SQL, Oracle.

· Defect Analysis and Troubleshooting Skills.

· Minimum of Business Level fluency in Target Language.

· Minimum of Business Level fluency in English.

· Ability to establish and manage shifting priorities, multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

· Strong organizational skills with ability to handle various tasks; attention to detail.

· Strong oral and written communication skills.

· Must be able to work well with others as part of a Team.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience with localization developing is a plus.

· Experience in using Catalyst and Trados is a plus.

Education/ Licensing/Certification:

· A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent or demonstrated skills and/or related experience.
