The group owns and is responsible for the systems and processes that support partner ordering in Worldwide Alliances and Channels. This team continuously improves indirect ordering systems and streamlines internal business processes to enable increased automation and improve partner experience to increase profitability to both Oracle and our indirect community. The team is also responsible for the support of these tools and processes that handle $3BN in revenue. We are committed to giving Oracle a competitive edge by being the easiest vendor to do business with.

? Focus on Asia Pacific partners and building strong relationships with them
? Advocate for change, improvements and adoption of new tools and process
? Involved in cross Oracle projects, working with internal and external stakeholders
? Responsible for driving overall partner ordering automation in the region
 
Detailed Description:
 
Automated Ordering Lead for Greater China
Responsibilities will be as follows:


1. Establish and build strong working relationships with local VADs and large partners
2. Management of region to include monitoring and improvement of automation levels
3. Advocate for partner requirements in global decision making
4. Support for key partners when the established support methods are not able to resolve their issues, or are taking too long
 
Project Management
Responsibilities will be as follows:
1. Managing and implementation of multiple global projects
2. Providing ROI and justification for priorities
3. Gathering requirements from multiple sources
4. Managing projects to industry recognized best practices
5. Ensuring all relevant stakeholders in projects are engaged (and feel engaged) aware of project details and any process changes
6. Quickly adapting project plans to accommodate changing requirements and/or priorities
7. Successful delivery of key projects

? Establish strong and broad professional relationships with other internal groups including finance, IT, business practices, legal and regional A&C groups
? Understand, analyze and improve Global distribution channel systems and processes
? Understand, analyze and recommend associated changes to global business practices
 
Position Responsibilities:
 
? Responsible for establishing strong working relationships with various teams across both the Global Alliances organization and the localized Country Alliance organizations. You are responsible for ensuring that the areas of responsibility are kept up to date and any issues are resolved in a timely manner
? The position covers a large number of critical responsibilities and coordination with many different groups. Your work will directly impact our partners experience with Oracle and therefore you will be expected to be able to prioritize your workload and ensure that partner’s priorities are taken into consideration
? Develop effective working relationships with team members and peers to maximize personal effectiveness and achieve team, departmental and company goals. Understand the organizational structure, systems, procedures, and policies
? International and local travel will be necessary on occasion.
 
Professional Competencies:
Required:
? At least 7 years plus of high-tech industry or related experience
? Experience working with or for partners in a channel sales capacity
? A proven record of managing multiple projects and or initiatives
? Comfortable working in a team, as an individual, independently and under tight guidelines
? A working knowledge of the Oracle sales cycle and process
? A working knowledge of the portfolio of Oracle Products
? An enquiring mind with a proven track record of driving multiple initiatives all at the same time
? Highly motivated and willing to provide help where needed to ensure the success of the team
? Ability to lead change keeping themselves and individuals involved in their work focused on goals when working in a changing environment where the direction can be ambiguous at the start
