The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting training needs analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of training programs. Training coordination will include communicating with appropriate TRMS operations management and the training team to ensure that all trainings are conducted on-time and with sufficient resources and facilities.
This position will also include delivering instructor-led training classes for new hires, new skills (cross-training), feature launches, and refreshers as necessary. The person hired for this role must be able to manage the learning environment and report on testing results.
In addition, the Trainer will support the development of training materials. This will also include using surveys, quizzes, quality metrics and other available tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training and assess investigator learning and skill development. In addition, the Trainer will work on special projects and other training needs and development.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with TRMS teams and subject matter experts across the network Perform needs analysis and evaluate existing documentation to identify the most appropriate training approach and content to meet the demands of the learning objectives and audienceWork with instructional designers to build training materials that best suit the contentCreate engaging and valid trainee evaluation exercises that prove successful knowledge transferContribute to additional training projects as required
Basic Qualifications:
Expertise developing, planning, implementing and assessing trainingDemonstrated experience developing training materials, job aids and online tutorials Excellent communication skills for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill developmentExcellent one-to-many and one-to-one communication skills in both classroom and tutorial settingsExcellent coordination and organization skillsAbility to use multiple learning methods and link appropriate methods with subject matterKnowledge of adult learning and training practicesAt least 3 years’ experience in a training roleCompetent user level of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)Fluent in Chinese
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree Ability to Travel
