The VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V. - Mechanical Engineering Industry Association) represents more than 3,100 member companies in the engineering industry, making it the largest industry associations in Europe. The Association represents the interests of the predominantly medium-sized companies in the mechanical engineering industry towards policymakers and society, as well as towards business, the scientific community, public authorities and the media.
Since 2004 the VDMA is operating in China, with an office in Beijing and one in Shanghai. The China Offices are the contact point and service center for VDMA members with subsidiaries and branches in China. VDMA China is providing a network for our members. We hold close ties with government bodies, associations and relevant business partners. We organize events, are active on tradeshows in China and offer various services to our member companies. The VDMA Beijing office is located at Landmark Tower and has 8 employees.
