Responsibilities:
To manage and direct project personnel to achieve agreed time, cost and quality and safety standards for assigned projects in a way that fosters repeat business with each client and builds/maintains positive relationships with contractors, consultants and architects.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor degree in either a Building or Engineering discipline.
Minimum 6-8 years experience in construction project management on a diverse range of projects of similar size and value is essential, together with expertise in selecting, dealing with and negotiating with sub-contractors, and clients and/or their representatives. Prior experience with Foreign Companies will be highly regarded.

Ability to manage all aspects of project delivery including:

Computer literate with a sound working knowledge of word processing, spread sheet, project programming, database or project management packages and e-mail.
Possessing good written and oral communication skills in English & Chinese.
Ability to work autonomously and under pressure, with a sense of urgency, to meet constant deadlines.
Well organised, an ability to prioritise, with good time management skills.
Have the presence, confidence and knowledge to quickly instil confidence in clients that Hooker Cockram can meet their expectations.
The ability to manage a team providing leadership and direction on the critical aspects of projects, including identification and taking action where performance is not meeting expectations.
Possess good people management skills including:
- An ability to manage conflict
- An ability to work and deal with people at different levels
- Being approachable
- The ability to allow appropriate balance in people's working lives
A strong working knowledge of project safety requirements.
