Sourcing Director, Behai Mill



Purpose of the job:

To lead and manage Beihai sourcing function with the purpose to:
? Source products and services from Best Partners in a way which best support Beihai mill to reach their short and long term targets
? Work in close cooperation with Business Requesters (Beihai mill and Forest operations) and Suppliers (partners).
? Develop organization and personnel
? Continuously improve ways of working according to One Sourcing Way
? Implement Sourcing Governance and ensure ethical sourcing compliance
All to achieve set vision, strategy, and targets.


Main responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of this position is to secure total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions for Beihai mill and to ensure organizational development and competence growth in the function. The position holder challenges current ways of working, suggests changes and implements agreed best practices and governance models to continually improve processes, methods and applies required controls.

The role is responsible for, in close co-operation with both Beihai mill, Forest operations and Group Sourcing categories, formulating and executing strategies for all sourcing activities in the area of responsibility for Beihai mill. Clear focus is put on delivering lower cost for the required quality and service to Beihai mill. Based on the strategies, yearly procurement plans need to be established and accomplished with the available internal resources in order to secure total cost of ownership (TCO) reductions. Ethical sourcing, Supplier Code of Conduct implementation and sustainability audits for suppliers relevant for Beihai mill, are under responsibility of this role, as well as implementation of the sourcing governance and required controls.

Key tasks:

Lead Beihai mill Sourcing within decided vision and according to assigned targets, business needs and market opportunities
? Close alignment with Beihai mill and Forest management in securing Sourcings support in achieving over all targets.
? Implement agreed Sourcing Governance
? Oversee development of annual strategic sourcing plans which specify how savings goals will be achieved
? Ensure clear alignment between team actions and business interests
? Develop and execute sourcing plan and set targets in line with our strategy, targets, guidelines and policies for Beihai sourcing organization together with stakeholders
? Review annual sourcing plan with a monthly/quarterly follow-up on progress against the plan
? Analyse opportunities to source from “Best Cost Countries” to Europe, make plans and execute them
? Oversee the supplier selection and negotiation process
? Measure and track internal performance (TCO, cost reduction, delivery performance)
? Develop and adjust the supplier base in the region to increase competition, but lower transaction/admin costs
? Prequalify suppliers in category and ensure compliance with Supplier Code of Conduct
? Increase operational excellence and develop the function towards best practice, and implement agreed processes, tools and templates
? Develop, implement and execute actions to increase transactional efficiency from purchase orders to invoice handling
? Act as a member of division CB Sourcing Leadership team
? Act as a member of SE Beihai Leadership team
? Be Supplier Account Manager (SAM) for assigned suppliers

Lead and coach own team
? Lead and coach sourcing teams to facilitate learning and development
? Challenge current ways of working, suggest changes and implement agreed best practices to continually improve processes and methods
? Maintain optimum team structure and management creating positive and effective work environment leading to high engagement
? Define individual goals (as relevant with input from matrix), conduct Performance Talks and make individual development plans in dialog with subordinates
? Discuss Your Voice results and actively make plan for actions together with the team

Manage performance of own functional budget as well as own targets
? Develop and implement yearly target breakdown linked to business as well as individual performance plans
? Make and keep budget and forecasts for own unit
? Report KPIs according to performance management process


Active member of Sourcing divisional and unit Leadership team
? Ensure plan for own “Critical result areas “ is developed, anchored and met
? Regularly report status to divisional and unit leadership team, propose and take corrective actions when needed
? Support colleagues for mutual benefits & development
? Take decisions, sign agreements and incur liabilities according to authorization given
? Promote and contribute towards becoming industry leading division and company


- Required education:
 Master’s degree, or equivalent experience

- Required years of relevant experience:
 8+ years working experience in international procurement and leadership.

- Required language skills:
 Excellent in written and spoken English and Chinese.

? Strong ability to work closely with mill management and understand mill KPIs and what impact sourcing have on them

斯道拉恩索在广西的经营包括人工林及北海高档包装纸板厂，是广西目前***的外商投资项目，也是斯道拉恩索集团战略转型中的重要投资之一。

北海工厂现投资总额为8亿欧元，产能45万吨的纸板机生产线于2016年5月26日正式投产。工厂采用国际公认的最先进环保设备和成熟技术，主要生产液体包装纸板、社会白卡、涂布牛卡以及餐饮服务类纸板等高档纸板产品，服务于食品、饮料、药品、化妆品、图文印刷等领域的高端包装应用。20万吨漂白化学热磨机械浆生产线（BCTMP）于2016年第四季度投产。2017年12月19日，斯道拉恩索北海工厂年产能8万吨的聚乙烯淋膜生产线正式投产。

自2002年起斯道拉恩索开始在广西租赁土地用于人工林种植。目前租赁的土地面积为82,591公顷，其中桉树人工林面积为70,000公顷。所有人工林自2012年起，均已获得Forest Stewardship Council？（FSC？森林管理委员会）和CFCCTM中国森林认证委员会的双重认证，为斯道拉恩索北海工厂提供可再生原材料保障。
