Reports to
As a member of the forestry management team, the positions will report to the Director / GM of Stora Enso Guangxi Forestry

Beihai, Guangxi, China

Job description:
1. Overall responsibility for establishing and maintaining the companies forestry resource databases including the forest information system and the geographic information system and related infrastucture including mapping tools such as GPS and drones
2. Keep the land use and forest management plans regularly updated
3. Responsible for all forest inventory including mid rotation and pre harvest inventory
4. Responsible for conducting long term harvest planning and modelling
5. Responsible for maintaining and updating forest growth models and ensuring they accurately reflect reality
6. Cost control, budgeting and monthly forecasting, as well as responsibility for all Resource Information data and reporting.
7. Observe, report and, if necessary, take action non-compliances against Stora Enso safety standards and Code of Conduct

Qualifications
1. Bachelor degree in forestry
2. Proven strong management and leadership skills in the forestry industry with high safety, sustainability and ethical standards
3. Minimum of 10 year’s work experience in inventory or long term planning in a large scale eucalypt plantation operation
4. Previous experience in the use of long term planning skills such as Woodstock is strongly preferred
5. Demonstrated ability at being a hands-on operator with exceptional leadership, team work and problem solving abilities
6. Proactive individual with a resilient personality.
7. Proven ability to adapt to challenging environments.
8. Human focus and interest in understanding Chinese values
9. Preference will be given to candidates with Asian work experience (especially in China) or operational experience in a developing country.

斯道拉恩索在广西的经营包括人工林及北海高档包装纸板厂，是广西目前***的外商投资项目，也是斯道拉恩索集团战略转型中的重要投资之一。

北海工厂现投资总额为8亿欧元，产能45万吨的纸板机生产线于2016年5月26日正式投产。工厂采用国际公认的最先进环保设备和成熟技术，主要生产液体包装纸板、社会白卡、涂布牛卡以及餐饮服务类纸板等高档纸板产品，服务于食品、饮料、药品、化妆品、图文印刷等领域的高端包装应用。20万吨漂白化学热磨机械浆生产线（BCTMP）于2016年第四季度投产。2017年12月19日，斯道拉恩索北海工厂年产能8万吨的聚乙烯淋膜生产线正式投产。

自2002年起斯道拉恩索开始在广西租赁土地用于人工林种植。目前租赁的土地面积为82,591公顷，其中桉树人工林面积为70,000公顷。所有人工林自2012年起，均已获得Forest Stewardship Council？（FSC？森林管理委员会）和CFCCTM中国森林认证委员会的双重认证，为斯道拉恩索北海工厂提供可再生原材料保障。
