Area of responsibilities:
Trial Specific Tasks:

•Lead, manage and support the Biostatistics team in all project deliverable tasks including project timelines, resourcing planning. Be responsible for team budget and act on variances.
•Provide scientific consulting in the design of drug development.
•Assure project completed in compliance with NN Quality system and Core SOPs.
•Assign resource for each work appropriately by realizing their experience, capacity, quality development and coordinate resources and priorities across all studies.
•Collaborate in protocol development as required (completing statistical section of protocols).
•To perform goal setting and performance review on staff as per the department goals and BSC. Performance management, progressive discipline, and training need identification. Direct responsibility for utilisation and productivity of staff.
•Develop internal training in new technology and industry methods. Ensure that personnel competencies are maintained and developed to meet future business requirements.
•Provide senior review of outgoing deliverables and creation or review of setup specifications.
•Process and maintain a broad overall knowledge in the field of Biostatistics and clinical trials design / analysis by reading related literature, self-training, attending training classes, attending professional meetings, and assists in the development of new initiatives for technical enhancements and process improvements.
•Interview candidates and in conjunction with HR (job advertisements, applicant screening, interviewing of applicants, decision on successful candidate).
•Supporting CRO clinical Data management & biostatistics manager’s routine works, including but not limited to project feasibility analysis, projecting. planning and status update, people assignment and arrangement, budget planning and cost tracking, expenses report approval etc.
•To provide constructive and valuable suggestions to clinical Data management & biostatistics manager and medical management team.
•To establish co-operative relationship between corresponding functions in HQ and CDCs.
•Any other responsibilities and duties which may be required from time to time.

Biostatistician, Sr. Biostatistician, Programmer, Sr. Programmer

Main customers:
Internal: Colleagues from Medical & Regulatory Dept, Marketing Dept and Sales Dept. Colleagues from HQ & CDCs.
External: Investigators and doctors, officials from Health Authority

Education and Experience Requirements of the Position:
-Education:
•PhD/ MSc with degree in Biostatistics/Statistics with 5 years experience in working with drug discovery and development teams

Experience:
•At least 5 years of biostatistician experience in a Pharmaceutical company or contract research organization in pharma industry
•3 years of design and analysis and strong knowledge in statistical designing and planning clinical trials.
•Demonstrates good understanding of Clinical development and contributes to the whole project.
•Prior 2 years of management experience and demonstrated leadership skills

•High degree of expertise in SAS, S-Plus, R and other statistical packages.
•Innovative problem solving ability.

•Fluent in written and spoken English.
•Analytical skills.

•Excellent planning and organizational skills.
