Job Description:
This position is generated by a leading China-based outsourcing company (CRO). The purpose of this role is to develop market and to sell company’s services to a wide range of clients in US and Europe market, across the fields of Chemistry, Biology, preclinical, formulation and API manufacturing. The responsibilities include but not limited to developing new client relationships, identification and qualifying business needs, working with internal team to draw proposals of effective solutions, closing agreements with clients, and following up projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Achieve sales and revenue targets assigned by company
2. Develop strategies and tactics to gain new business in the target region; Identify and maintain client accounts
3. Perform business development activities, including identifying and meeting with potential customers, making capabilities presentations, negotiating contract terms, and ensuring a timely response to clients.
4. Drawing upon detailed knowledge of the client’s needs.
5. Collects and utilizes various data sources provide competitive intelligence, tracking and analysis of the competitive landscape in assigned segment.
6. Collect and provide data on competitive pricing.
7. Responsible for lead generation, appointment setting, proposal delivery and closing contract.
8. Liaise within company to ensure the highest quality delivery of client projects.
9. Participate in conferences, seminars and technical workshops designed to network and help identify lead opportunities.
10. Attend regular meetings and report current and potential business status
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
1. BA/BS in Life Science, Business, Marketing or related Technical degree, or equivalent training and/or experience. Strong understanding of pharmaceutical/biotech industry operations. Drug discovery experiences preferred.
2. Strong strategic business development skill and selling strategies.
3. Strong analytical skills and able to deliver solution for complex situation
4. Proven track record in your sales ability and demonstrable comprehensive knowledge of the sales process
5. Proven experience in creating successful business development plans and processes.
6. Strong client orientation and sense of responsibility
7. A positive and determined approach to analysing new business opportunities

? Must be willing to travel within and outside of assigned geographic region.
