The IT analyst position Perform business analysis for business applications and future IT application support working with internal & external team to become a partner to the business.

Responsible for analyzing, implementing business applications during project period.

To be the 1st Level or 2nd Level support to business application after implementation.

Participate in development, review and implementation of business applications in the future.

Principal Accountabilities

60% Analysis of business requirements

Work closely with business users and application developers or consultants to capture technical & business requirements.

Developing and executing technical strategy, standards and processes

Document existing business processes and refine future processes

Ensuring alignment with Enterprise Architecture including compliance with business process, application, information, technology and security, controls, etc and proper implementation of system controls and security measures

Ensure proper updated documentation are available for systems and procedures

Utilizing development tools and forms to achieve project objectives

Executing unit tests

30% Business Application support

1st level or 2nd level support depending on application support structure.

Process honor and Champion of ITIL process.

Manage support issues through to resolution

Assist users in reviewing and improving its business operations efficiency and productivity

Work with super user to train end user.

10% Project Involvement

Actively participate in team projects, contributing ideas, and support team plans/decisions for successful project implementation

Be able to leads execution of small size projects

Communicates progress/status of projects, anticipates risks and recommend solutions to address issues

Works with available resources to deliver assigned tasks on agreed schedule

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science or engineering related majors

Three or more years’ hands-on experience in IT application development or support

Ability to adapt/learn the business processes, relate with it and recommend viable alternatives to achieve intended results

Networking with business users and other IT groups to identify IT opportunities and apply best practices available

Ability to leverage Cargill standard technologies effectively to achieve intended results

Ability to develop and/or implement technical solutions required by the business

Ability to communicate to team member or end user effectively in English.

Ability to gain consensus, build and maintain strong and effective relationships, and provide excellent customer service.

Highly motivated and self-directed with the ability to work successfully in both team environment and individual capacity.
