职位描述

Purpose of the position


An NCR trained Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk specialist is responsible for identifying site issues, documenting symptoms, site status, expected results and steps taken to resolve issue. They are also responsible for issue resolution and proper escalation to the Level 3 desk.

Work requires knowledge of computer logic and methodology to run computer systems. Work requires ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals in order to make minor repairs to computer equipment. Reports to Helpdesk Supervisor.


Employee will receive moderate supervision with some on-the job training. After completion of training, employee will receive minimal supervision. The job starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. sharp, and ends at 6:00 p.m. with static breaks.


Help Desk (Level 1/Level 2), has access to confidential information, it is important to fill out the non-disclosure confidentiality agreement in terms of client, and company records.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required of Employee


? Computer engineering diploma or bachelor degree preferred

? 2 years or above working experience preferred

? Have a basic understanding of the Microsoft Operating System and its various versions (XP, Win7, etc.)

? Have a basic understanding of Local Area Networking

? Have a basic understanding of internet connectivity and how to troubleshoot any connectivity issues

? Understand how all parts of the system work together from the Site Controller to the POS and all of the peripherals.

? Be able to support/install any programs needed on the Manager PC that the Client needs to utilize the POS and/or back office technology.

? Recognize common issues and use the appropriate routing procedure for incoming support calls

? Initial diagnosis of network connectivity problems

? Troubleshooting skills, include but not limited to; re-booting equipment, checking cabling, or sending files to affected nodes

? Ability to dial into sites and run diagnostic tools to troubleshoot hardware Performing proper shutdown of all applications on the server if necessary

? Knowledge of computer logic in order to perform task listed under principal duties, and responsibilities

? Interpersonal skills necessary to train others in computer systems

? Ability to meet deadlines.

? Ability to provide customer with outstanding customer care and service at all times.

? Previous technical helpdesk experience preferred

NCR要求Helpdesk的一级/二级专员可以辨别客户端问题,根据客户需求能够及时给予正确的解决方案,能够处理电脑系统的维护,报/维修,故障排除等。必要时,负责协助将将问题升级提交至三级专员。



岗位要求


· 大专及以上电脑工程及相关学历,有2年或以上外企Helpdesk工作经验者优先

· 熟悉Win7,XP等系统安装、配置、维护、故障排除

· 熟悉Microsoft系列产品的安装维护,MCSE、CCNA、会综合布线者优先

· 能够处理网络设备及其他外接设备的维护、报/维修、故障排除等

· 有多年IT硬件维护经验,熟悉包括POS机,PC, LAPTOP等硬件配置,精通POS机系统运维者优先

· 熟悉相关的网络以及服务器技术及信息技术,有一定的信息安全防范意识

· 具备良好的沟通、协调及应变能力及较强的自我学习能力

· 具备良好的服务意识、听从主管安排、有责任心

· 有英语基础者更佳
