POSTION SUMMARY & KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

This position is primarily concerned with developing the monthly product demand forecast for the Financial Line of Business in Asia Pacific with input from Sales, Marketing and Solutions Management to enable future customer orders and NCR revenue requirements to be fulfilled effectively and at the optimum cost. Key Areas of Responsibility: Schedule and lead calls with Sales, Marketing and Solutions Management to obtain the necessary customer and product information to produce the monthly 12 month rolling demand plan; Comparison of the Demand Plan to the Revenue Outlook, highlighting any gaps and working to close these thus ensuring Sales and Operations plans are interlocked; Prepare the monthly region sales & operations interlock presentation, highlighting significant gaps to plan or outlookand any risks or issues that require attention; Participate in weekly / ad hoc meetings with Operations / Supply Planning to ensure that plant and supplier capacity is effectively utilized based on the latest order forecast position; Promote the importance of effective demand planning with Sales and compile root cause and trend analyses when needed to help drive process improvement


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor degree requiring a strong analytical competency eg Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree with analytics bias combined with 1-2 years supply chain / operations / planning experience


Experience of Oracle ERP and/or Demantra Demand Planning


SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Excellent written and spoken English communication skills


Confident and friendly demeanor and able to adapt to different cultures to ensure effective virtual team working


Work effectively with stakeholders at different levels in the organization


Organize, prioritize and complete tasks with minimal supervision when needed


Flexible approach to managing monthly workload peaks to ensure commitments are met recognizing different region time zones


Excellent MS Office skills, particularly with regard to Excel and being able to manipulate large volumes of data quickly and summarize effectively


Strong analytical skills, using data to drive improvement actions
