ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The incumbent will be responsible for, but not limiting to the following duties:
- Business Planning and Strategy
? Assist regional general manager (RGM) and BU leader on annual business plan andstrategy: Help business wisely utilize investments and resources to maximize growth opportunities and profitability
? Provide financial evaluation on business initiatives with action-oriented recommendations
? Lead regional / BU Budget and Forecast process by conducting comprehensive financial analysis, support RGM / BU leader to well foresee the business growth roadmap, and proactively identify the opportunities and risks
? Provide sound financial analysis and opinion to support commercial decisions
? Work with RGM / BU leader for annual sales target setting and performance review
? Support RGM / BU leader to perform annual distributor performance review and annual promotion plan review
P&L and Working Capital Management
? Partner with RGM / BU leader on full P&L management, provide solid financial
assessment on pricing/ expense/ investment/ credit resource allocation
? Assist RGM / BU leader to set annual regional pricing plan to ensure reasonable and market driven pricing resource allocation to support higher business growth
? Perform yearly and monthly regional PNL review, including Sales/ Pricing/ Margin/ Expense/DSO
? Work with RGM / BU leader to allocate annual and monthly credit resource to distributor level, well manage regional DSO within target; provide financial assessment on distributor credit term application; coach sales colleagues to increase credit management awareness
? Maintain balanced, objective and holistic perspective on spending initiatives
? Provide timely alert when pricing or credit resource is out of budget/plan
Governance and Control
? Ensure compliance with company policy and procedures
? Provide necessary finance trainings to sales teams, including finance policy/ financial risk assessment tool/ key finance control points/financial basis ROI analysis methodology
? Champion and support process improvement initiatives throughout the business
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor degree with Finance, Accounting, or Economics education background is preferred.
LANGUAGE: Demonstrates excellent communication (written and spoken) skills in English and Chinese
COMPUTER: Excellent Microsoft Excel skill, strong financial modeling skill with concrete knowledge in Visual Basic/ Macro is preferable. Knowledge in Oracle/Hyperion is a plus
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 8 years experience with 2+ years Commercial Finance BP experience or financial controlling role, or 5+ years financial analysis experience
- MNC working experience, healthcare or IVD industry is preferred
- Big 4 Consulting/Auditing firm experience is preferred
