1.  Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends with an eye on commerciality relating to fabrics, colours and shapes;
2. Creating/visualizing an idea and producing a design using (CAD);
3. Sourcing, selecting and fabrics, trims, fastenings and embellishments;
4. Working with buying team to develop products to meet a monthly brief;
5. Liaising closely with retail, buying and production teams on an ongoing basis to ensure the item suits the customer, market and price points;
6. Taking ideas from concept, creating initial specifications through to production of initial samples;
7. Creating master specs to assigned garment categories;
8. Suggest reactive products which can be added to the collection with a produce-to-sell ethos;
9. Follow up seasonal graphic concepts and trend, fashion graphics techniques/application research;
10. Assist comment on all printing strike off and samples etc;
11. Assist in other duties and on demand projects.
