Objectives:

 

-         lead the wool team and ensure the growth of the category according to set up targets.

-          As the wool collection is seasonal and relatively small the candidate will have to design as well as manage the        team and might according to his/hers experience be asked to help within other categories in less busy               development time.

Job responsibilities:

-         Working on the wool line (design and management)

-         Analyze and take immediate action on sampling fast moving trends, based on inspiration trips in Asia (Tokyo/         Seoul/ Hong Kong) as well as local research and follow up of the trend forecasting’s webs

-         Analyze sales figures/ orders, and being ahead of trend and consumer needs for ONLY

-         Constantly upgrade the fabric quality, fitting and product according to the trend and market demands

-         Constantly source latest offers/ trimmings/ fabrics/ treatments/ from suppliers in China (in cooperation with          buying department)

-         Conduct fitting reviews with buyers to improve product/ look/ fabric/ fitting etc. in weak areas/ ensure constant       training in latest fittings/ shapes/ details for Technicians/ Buyers.

-         Co-operating on strong trend visualization and styling of the final products

-         Directly reporting to Senior Design Manager of ONLY

Requirements:

-         Qualified designer- minimum Bachelor degree in Fashion

-         Proven experience in designing wool (minimum 3-4 years)

-         Proven experience of managing and leading the team (minimum 1 year)

-         Strong portfolio demonstrating the feeling for premium wool designs

-         Creative design flair/ Strong sense for fast moving trends

-         Excellent knowledge of fabrics and attention to details is an absolute must

-         Excellent knowledge of Adobe programs (Photoshop/ Illustrator)

-         User knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint

-     Strong team player with ability to work on a one to one basis with local buyers

-         Interest in Chinese culture and society is a plus, willingness to live in Beijing

-         English skills (minimum communication level), both written and spoken
