Responsibilities:

* Control systems

• The establishment of a sufficiently broad set of controls to give management assurance that transactions are processed properly.

* Policies and Procedures

• The creation and maintenance of all policies and procedures related to the control of company assets and the proper completion of financial transactions.
• The modification of existing policies and procedures to match the requirements of government regulations.

* Audit

• The scheduling and management of periodic internal audits, as well as the preparation of resulting audit reports and the communication of findings and recommendations to management.
• The preparation of work papers for the external auditors and the rendering of any additional assistance needed by them to complete the annual audit.

* Budgeting

• The coordination of the annual budgeting process.

* Reporting

• Monitoring and analysing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements including publishing of timely monthly financial statements, budget vs Actual with variances, and other analytical reports as per requirement.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

* Cost Accounting

• The coordination of periodic physical inventory counts.
• The periodic analysis, compilation and evaluation of inventory costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with major in accounting, finance, economy or related discipline; member of ACCA, CICPA is desired
• Around 10 years working experience of overall combined control, planning and finance
• Strong analytical skills and superb Excel / Access / Powerpoint skills
• Excellent interpersonal skill;
• Solid project management skills for complex and high-profile projects
• Strong business sense, analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and presentation skill in both Chinese and English
• Knowledge of JDE / Hyperion system, Cognos or other BI tools would be a plus
