Responsibilities:

Quality management to ensure the packaging/chemicals quality from the vendor complies with YUM China’s  specification and with China’s regulation:

- Drive packaging/chemicals suppliers to effectively implement an effective food safety, regulatory compliance and quality management system.

- Play key role to assure regulatory compliance and food safety on new product and duplication projects.

- Work on product specification to assure product quality consistency.

- Manage the product cutting and testing program to verify and keep continuously improvement of the product quality

- Conduct supplier’s auditing to correct no compliance and improve quality management skill

- Tracking supplier’s quality performance including audit score, product complaints, product testing, cutting and etc

- Provide Technical solution to Yum logistic, operation when restaurant or Logistic Centers meet some unexpected issues

- Work with suppliers to figure out and provide solutions from the root cause to all quality incompliance

- Provide technical support to Public Affairs and Food Safety Office for crisis management

- Provide technical service to other departments, i.e. Purchasing, Engineering, Operation and Marketing

- Provide technical support to field QA, including how to handle the quality issues and the complaints

Requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Packaging / Food Science/Chemical Engineering or related field.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance, regulation, manufacturing in food industry.

- In depth knowledge of quality, regulation and techniques in the fields of food contact materials, such as paper, plastic, chemicals and etc.

- Demonstrated capability in quality audit in various operations.

- Experience on project management across various functions.

- Prefer to have work experience in the Head Office.

- Good at written English and good oral English.

- Strong interpersonal skill

- Accept intensive travelling
