Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

To manage the direct procurement CMT (cutting, making, trims) cost control, covers Vero Moda, ONLY, Jack&Jones, SELECTED, J.Lindeburg and other brands in China.  Also support supply chain re-engineer project where there’s leverage opportunity.  

Key Responsibilities:

Manage CMT cost optimization

? Develop standard CMT cost model for key categories

? Lead cross brand CMT cost  reduction initiatives

? Continuously track CMT cost performance for garment suppliers

? Manage internal stakeholder feedback on CMT cost

Support initiatives and will willing to take more responsibilities 

? Should with willingness to take more responsibility when business needs arise 

? Open to take care procurement process related areas when business needs arise 

Key Relationships:

? Brand buying manager, senior/junior buyers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Rich experience in apparel industry

? Good knowledge of  CMT, both woven and knit categories

? Should be able to conduct cost presentation and analysis by having deep knowledge of internal cost and external cost benchmark for CMT cost

? Should be able to take full accountability with broader scope when there is a need to facilitate the decision making 

? Should be able to collaborate with peers to achieve common goal 

? Proficiency in MS Office 

? Fluent in English, spoken and written

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

? Minimum 5-8 years experiences in purchasing positions
