Main Responsibilities:

1.Good Understanding of the complexity in the Chinese and western fashion market,and be able to support all projects with their knowledge during the creativeprocess.

2.Responsible for creative concept development of commercial brand stores in oroutside China based on deeply understanding of fashion industry

3. Work closely with Brand designmanagers or other senior designers to create appropriate commercial conceptsfor each brand insure project design concept follows brand standards and bestpractices.

4. Work closelywith outside design agency and concept development manager to make sure ideascan match well with brand requests and fashion market in China

5. Work with brand designers to leadall process of creative design/layout for new business stores or specialprojects, successfully implement from concept phase through project execution.

6. Work withIndirect Procurement team to select appropriate samples for new projects andupgrade stores, make sure furniture are within cost and well designed in stores. Identify and select products andvendors that meet brand standards.

7. Work with DesignManager on designer's career development, provide training and professionalguidance on technical and professional aspects

 

Position Requirement:

1. Minimum6 years above working experience, primarily in retail, working on large scaleretail malls and public spaces

2.Has completed a project where a significant design input was recognized

3.Good command of AutoCAD, Photoshop and MS-office;

4.Havegreat passion on commercial design, Commitment to delivering outstanding designfor new concept stores

5. Reliable,focused, and detail-oriented

6. Self-directedwith a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude

7. Opento feedback, with boundless amounts of positive energy

8. Highlyresourceful problem solver and quick learner

9. Abilityto work both independently and cooperatively in a fast-paced environment

10. Strongtime management skills and experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

11.FluencyChinese and English Speaker preferred, but only English is required.

12. Worklocation will be based in Beijing, China. Candidate will sometimes be expectedto travel in China and aboard on business trips.
